I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the supporters to actually have a better understanding of what injuries have happened to our players .

Why the secrecy? Who is it helping or protecting? Why is it an issue to make the fans aware of what injury they’ve sustained?

Anyway, I don't think of it as secrecy - what will you do with this information, other than the obvious "I had the same and I recovered faster", which is just pointless to begin with.

Although, saying that, I miss the old days when people would speculate on any injury all the time, that was fun.

I’m legitimately interested to know what injury Chermiti suffered.

A “foot” injury is vague. As is “he’s had to have surgery”. Well, surgery on what?

If it was a more high profile player - if it was Pickford, Branthwaite or N’diaye who has “hurt their foot” and was out for 5/6 months I think more people would actually like to know what’s happened.
