As bad as this is, My Grandad saw us get relegated after enjoying the years of Dixie Dean, and then he seen our resurgence with Catterick, then success again with Kendall.
Same here- as did my Uncle Ronnie- whose hero was Dave Hickson, this worship began in Division Two (really the divisions where Hickson became an all-time Blues legend). My uncle's worship so strong, he ended up marrying Dave first wife (Renee). :D
 

When I realised Kenwright was a phoney and called it a day after 30 years of going to the game. Gascoigne, Ginola it became a urine take for me. I now go a couple of games a season. Last year I got a main stand seat on Stubhub yards from Kenwright, I shouted to him at half time, no headlock, just you should be ashamed. His wing man a well known boxer gave me the stare. Good thing about that game was having a good chat with Andy Holden a real Evertonian.
