What happened in 1914 and 1939 how did they deal with that

It's not a war - it's a disease. I've seen people suggesting we should all meet up and sing like the cockneys did in the underground during the war. What a great way to spread a disease.

Just stay in. Avoid others. Unlike the wars we have no bombs dropping, we have the internet and Netflix.

But no big roll.

They didn't have M&S melt in the middle puddings back then. The middle class simply can't survive without them. Chaos will ensue.

This is unquestionably true.

Just this morning @peteblue pushed a small girl in a wheelchair in front of the delivery van in order to protect his stocks and then for no good reason except he said she looked poor he rubbed clotted cream in her eyes.
