If you're after a movie at the moment I recommend 'A Very Long Engagement'. Very topical and has something for boys and girls.

Just saw Idiocracy, which was one the funniest movies that I've seen in a long time.
Even though I'm not much of a Wes Anderson fan (Royal Tennebaums, Rushmore), I saw the Darjeeling Ltd. in the theaters last week which was suprisingly good.
Another funny movie in theaters is Superbad.
