There are only 2 things I miss about the UK; going to the match and proper English chippy chips. In 16 years as close as I've found was one place in Cape Town but everywhere else has been a washout. In days of old it was either:
• mince pie, chips and mushy peas
• battered sausage, chips, bread and butter
