Always enjoyed a good fish n chips with a small curry sauce or gravy, slice of buttered bread! Sadly the price is crazy and I know the cost of running a chippy have shot up astronomically over the last 5 years or so. One thing that baffles me, we are an Ireland and we have an abundance of sea food at our disposal, yet we price the average family out of using a local fishmonger ?

Used to be the best bits. Now they probably collect them all up and glue to the battered fish to make it seem large enough to deserve the price!
