Just getting around to listening to the Foster The People album in it's entirety, and loving it. I would have put it in my top 10 if I had gotten off my arse and listened to it.

Loved Pump Up Kicks, suffered from overplay though big time. Took me a while to really like that album as a whole though.
Totally forgot about this band. Not really surprising I guess, but I loved a couple of these a few years back

Again, you'll be surprised to hear they were another band I only checked out as they were at Pukkelpop. They were awesome live. I'm giving the album a listen for probably the first time in about 3 or 4 years. I've honestly totally forgot about them since then, weird. Good times though

stone temple pilots. Purple. Often derided for ripping off Alice in chains, but a Damn listenable album. Grunge me up.

You have to be in the right mood...i.e. a good one and looking for something that goes down easy and give you a bounce in your step. I wasn't really in the kind of mood much late last year tbh.

Try the Joy Formidable's "The Big Roar". Not as many electronic elements, but it's my favorite album of last year. If you don't like it I'll be surprised. Me and RFUS and Alio are all in agreement on this one. So if you don't like it, you're not cool.
