Yeah. Their last two albums are ace especially, so start with them. You've probably heard some of the stuff from "Brothers" before as a lot of their stuff has been used in adverts and on TV.

Na, the Black Keys are a bit dull in my opinion. Nothing new there really. Inoffensive enough, but that perhaps is the problem.

I have to agree.

Find them thoroughly average - like a watered down Beta Band but without the charisma. I've given them fair chance too - the mrs loves the album and insisted I'll like it. Just not for me.

Speaking of average, I went watching The Duke Spirit the other night, which was actually pretty boss. Topped up the bank with a few close ups of Liela Moss. To be honest, I only went for Surrender..... and to smell her hair.

I saw The Duke Spirit supporting White Lies last year and they were pretty damn good. But I was underwhelmed by their records. Some bands are like that though, stick them on a stage and they come to life. Whereas others are godawful out of the confines of the studio...

It's good that everyone's got different opinions to be honest, but I find it odd to call Django Django average. They seem anything but to me, whether or not their sound is to your liking.

And I like The Duke Spirit. Not amazing but above average for me!

It could just be me. I am renouned for being "MEH" about stuff. In turn very few people understand my postion regarding the genius of Electric Six. Different horses etc...

So far Low, Mike Watt (*fap*), The Music Tapes (obv), Tall Firs. Sebadoh, John Spencer and The Fall are playing too I think. Heard rumours that Young Marble Giants reformed and are doing it too?

I'm certainly not in that category, I'm going by popular demand among mates rather than a burning desire, truth be told.
