What are you currently listening to?

Only joking Roofie, I'm about to give it a spin.

I don't know what to make of the whole electronics thing, it doesn't work for most bands, but then I guess the Volta aren't most bands.

Well, Aegis is a seriously good tune, so we're off to a good start.

I like electronic music mixed in with more traditional rock stuff. If you can say that about the Volta. Which I suppose you can't, as they're not "traditional" in any way. But I don't know... I trust Omar.

I'm on that too, matey. I must have listened to it at least five times over the last two days. It's a fantastic album.

Also, The Naked and the Famous' album is brilliant. That gets a BLF two thumbs up seal of approval.

I've listened to it 3 times in a row this morning. Not even sure how to describe it to someone, but it's addictive.

Both The Naked and Famous and Django Django get two thumbs up from me!

Yeah it is addictive, and what an introduction "Hail Bop" is to the album, it just grabs you immediately.

I love the vocals in particular, I think they have a slight hint of The Beach Boys to them.

I saw you say you bought that SSX game. I remember seeing the advert a few weeks ago and remembered they had an ace song on the advert. Took me a while to remember who they used though, it was another clique favourite, the Joy Formidable! So I have no idea! Ha

Looking forward to the new Fanfarlo album, hopefully that will build on Resevoir.

I have to agree.

Find them thoroughly average - like a watered down Beta Band but without the charisma. I've given them fair chance too - the mrs loves the album and insisted I'll like it. Just not for me.

Speaking of average, I went watching The Duke Spirit the other night, which was actually pretty boss. Topped up the bank with a few close ups of Liela Moss. To be honest, I only went for Surrender..... and to smell her hair.
