What are you currently listening to?

Spring in England happened between Tuesday and Thursday.
Which means that I get up early and do my job, then I go round and see my 89 year old Dad who loves his garden, do what he can't anymore, while he sits on the bench making arm movements while I'm mowing the lawn, so I have turn the petrol mower off and say "yer wha? Why couldn't you tell me that before I started or after I finished?"
I've learned that his way is the right way and I have to try and restart a petrol mower with a pull cord, which is a lottery always.
Eventually, I'm humming this song to myself.

do your preparation because apparently Summer is on a Monday this year

You'd think, wouldn't you, that mowing a lawn and associated tasks would be easy?
Wrong.
Last week I did the 'preparation'.
Which included wheeling the mower out of the shed, trying to start it up and the pull cord breaking.
Is it an easy fix?
Good lord no.
After stress inducing swearing etc we strip the mower down and get the old, broken cord out.
I'm saying "You know how to put this back together right? Should we be taking pictures step by step?"
4 hours it took.
Then, on Wednesday morning, the 'real' cut was needed, from a 5 down to a 1.
There are Olympic athletes who would struggle to push it up and down over that moss covered heap.
While he's there waving his arms around like Shaun Ryder in the Step on video!!
And each time I have to let go of the main handle to stop it to ask "what now?"
And they say that gardening is a therapeutic, bonding experience!
By the end I'm saying "is there anything else I need to know that I'm doing wrong that you could've mentioned at some point before I started?"
