What are you currently listening to?

enjoying their new album, came out on Friday
Snuck up on me that, I'm gonna give it a listen today. That song you posted is interesting, the breakbeat (youll have to tell me if I've used the right term there) gives it the same sort of driving energy that the blast beats give Deafheaven.

I will say though, as someone who has a filling in their front tooth which falls out every couple of years and causes a terrifying trip to the dentist, I hate the cover art

it's very clearly influenced by this (someone had to give it a go!). Yeah, it's a jungle/breakbeat kind of thing. I'd assume it's electronics, but who knows. MBV do apparently have a whole jungle album....just waiting for nothing

@summerisle
I really enjoyed those garage rock/psychedelic 60's tunes you played over the weekend.
V reminiscent of The Sonics/The Stooges and late 60's swampy garage bands that influenced 80's and 90's American west coast bands.
Play me some more.
You can see the influence in The Hives and The Strokes too.
Try out The Tunderbeats and Monomen as later examples of the art and see what you think of them.
