Discovered a band called The Lemon twigs.Quite like them.

A lot of 60/70s Beatles, Bee Gees or Beach Boys in it. Also one song that reminds me of the La's.

Giving Geordie Greep's New Music a second listen. It's unrelenting (my headache returned after just one track) but utterly utterly brilliant at the same time. The musicianship is absolutely top notch and the lyrics off the chart crazy. It's so intense I've come to the conclusion that I can't listen to the whole album in one sitting, and neither can I focus on both the lyrics and music at the same time. It's like King Crimson at their most indulgent combined with early Santana. If that appeals to you then you really need to give this a listen.
