It’s all a sham. The price of vinyl, especially new releases, is shameful. Really picks away at me having to fork out over £25 for a an album.

Moreso with the pretty poor quality of new pressings - it's seemingly 50/50 whether what you get is garbage in my (limited) experience which is ludicrous given the prices being asked. I recently got a couple of Roxy Music albums from Discogs (original pressings) for less than a tenner each and they play perfectly & sound great. Sleeves have seen better days but nothing major and still look great once put in clear outer sleeves.

Plus with the vinyl trend and streaming being king I'm picking up some very decent CDs for buttons round the charity shops.
