Axl Rose and a constantly revolving cast of musicians and producers make this a GnR album in name only. Released in 2008 but sounds like it could soundtrack a late 90s David Fincher film. Absolutely not the hot mess it's sometimes made out to be and though there's a duff moment or two and brevity is not it's strong point it's excellent in parts.
Certainly doesn't deserve the negativity heaped on it.

Unreal how much this goes off considering how wirey the original sounds.
