ha, i used to know them back in the day. we organised a few venues for them to play on their first UK tour.

When they came over, they were about to get signed by a major label (and had a few after them), so they had a huge expense allowance and we used to go out on it every night

I like Belle & Sebastian, but "mighty" isn't a word I'd ever have used to describe them. Great band though.
