One injury away from playing Keane & Holgate partnership for the rest of the season. That will see us relegated. As nice as the new signings are, we needed a defensive midfield player and a centre back, desperately.

Honestly, this is huge. I'm not expecting us to suddenly surge up the table, and I'm not expecting us to suddenly show loads more quality but for the love of God just have a go. It sounds simple, almost archaic to say, but it is hard to exaggerate how pathetic a majority of our performances have been this season. Utterly lifeless and devoid of ANY redeeming features, until we fall behind and have a little bit of a go, by which point it's too late.

Let's have a bit of energy for once and get at teams - not too much to ask you'd think?

I remember Frank’s Derby and Chelsea (for the most part) played pretty good attacking footy. I think with Alli and Donny coming in we should have a squad capable of that, so I’m genuinely excited
