I expected a better result, but it’s still better than what we’ve been used to. Glad to see Ancelotti not happy with the result.

Another 90 minutes of boring football with two average teams, but at least I had a good view at the back of the lower tier, better than the upper.

Now it’s settled down. We shouldn’t underestimate just how bad our injuries are to key personnel.

Richarlison - anything good comes through him one way or another
Sigurdsson - not on form but a better player than Davies every day of the week.
gomes - a midfielder who isn’t scared of the ball and if plays well is excellent.
gbamin - untested due to injury but assuming he isn’t a dud would orocide some steel in the middle.
Four key absences in my eyes.
1-1 today ain’t too bad,

True.

I think some people think there's a magic tactic you can use that makes average players play like top drawer ones because we have a quality manager.

Our team is decimated by injuries, we've had to field many of the same players, game after game over Xmas. A lot of them are probably dead on their feet.

If we'd won all our home games and drawn all the away matches we'd be in 3rd place.

Drawing away from home is a decent result considering the context. Form has been good under Ancelotti, at least give the guy a summer transfer window before you expect us to be battering every team away from home other than the top 6.

I guess people are too impatient, don't put results in to context and knee jerk all over the shop.

Football is very emotive but people need to think how fair or valid their expectations are sometimes

A frustrating result but we did not deserve to win.

First half was dire, summed up when the commentator said on the 28 minute mark that their keeper touched the ball for the first time. Shocking statistic that. There was no midfield outlet for our CBs to pass to, it felt like the Liverpool game all over again.

Second half I felt like Delph improved a lot and had some better forward play. Sidibe coming on made a big difference (I’d have started him a RB) as he starting pinging in some balls from deep positions.

But overall, disappointing, disjointed and clueless. Hopefully we can keep plugging away and picking up points with this limited squad until the summer when we can do a big overhaul.

Worrying that we can not do the basic things like pass a ball more than 2 or 3 times in a move, without giving it away. This just has to improve, couldn't believe what I was watching yesterday, our injuries need to clear up or buy sharpish.

Imagine your owners promising you a fantastic ground and building that. I literally would only go to away games!
I saw Duncan get a taxi to Ancelotti at one point to pass on instructions

That's because they didn't build it. They got a sweetheart rental deal on a taxpayer-funded white elephant that otherwise would be sitting empty.

From the website:

"Welcome to London Stadium (ex Olympic Stadium), a superb multi-use venue to bring fans closer to music, sport and entertainment in a World Class ..."

Whoever approved that does not comprehend the word "irony".
