Holgate my MOTM, thought he was excellent again today.

Draw away from home is always frustrating but we were all at sea first half but I thought we were much brighter after the break. Sidibe's crossing is a major upgrade on Walcott... if he had his pace as well he... wouldn't be at Everton.

Kean... not great not terrible, thought he made some good runs and worked hard. His time will come.

Anybody moaning about the midfield needs to remember these are the only 2 standing who arent Schneiderlin .

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It’s a good point. We did not play well first half, second half was better. In the end it was good because we played a good game. I am not so happy about the goal we let in but the fact that we were able to score immediately was good. We played with more confidence.

Set pieces are really important. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been really fantastic. He scores goals, which is important for him and for the the squad. He is doing good performances and today it was important."

On the possible red card: "I don’t know because I did not see it. There is VAR and sometimes the referees have to use it which they did."

Ancelotti on Gordon: "He did well. He has been doing well in training. It was his first appearance in the Premier League. He showed character. I am happy with his performance."

Ancelotti: "I think this season we can improve and we have to improve. Some parts of the game are good, some are absolutely not good. We need to show more intensity and be more precise."

One of the worst matches I’ve ever attended between two poor teams
Holgate outstanding
Long way for Kean to be a premier league player
As I depart for home let me give you this ad evertonians

this is the team that ended the game
Name one player that will become a legend or would even get in a top 4 side
Massive changes needed

Pickford
Coleman Mina Holgate Digne
Sidibe Davies Delph Gordon
DCL Niasse

wow

3 shots on target v west ham away

3 shots on target v man city away

which is worse
12 shots v West Ham or 5 shots vs City which is worse. Picking shots on target is a biased selection and stupid way of making the point that we didn't play that well. We don't have to bring Palace into it. I don't think anyone is set to argue we weren't great going forward.

Holgate MOM without question, the lad is having a great season.
Delph improved second half to be fair.
Davies isn't good enough, I like him, but his future will lie in the championship.
Big decisions required now from the management team in recruiting younger fitter, faster players, we have to stop buying cast off's from the so called "big six".
There are players out there, (it's not my job to identify them before someone asks), I just think we are bullied and rolled over far too often.
Once we get the dead wood off the books, there is an opportunity to bring in some hungry footballers who maybe want to get in the shop window for better things, it's our job to start competing for trophies to stop them looking elsewhere.
We will need a major logging company !

Some absolutely not good.

Is right.
