When I flew for the first time, I was a bit nervous, until I noticed Peter Swales was on the same flight. Muppets like him tend to live a charmed life.
Indeed. I could go on about how 'Citeh' were perceived by many and labeled as a laughing stock of football at the time. We used to compete annually with Newcastle for 'king of cock ups cup'. If if wasn't was Sales constant meddling in his disastrous reign as chairman, we may of had more 'istree. I could go on. Many peolpe are unaware just how close MCFC were close to going into administration..... I could go on.Peter Swales, what a clown he was, had a work mate that was a manager in one of his
Shops, he was called in from his home, one w/e,by Swales, the reason being, he had put on display an electrical item, and one of the castors on the unit was facing a different way than the other three, what a tosser.
He may of lived a charned like in his own bubble, but i still remember our Swales out protests, not too disimilar to those at West Ham.When I flew for the first time, I was a bit nervous, until I noticed Peter Swales was on the same flight. Muppets like him tend to live a charmed life.
So do I, I'm surprised he clung on so long. Reminds me of someone else closer to homeHe may of lived a charned like in his own bubble, but i still remember our Swales out protests, not too disimilar to those at West Ham.
.only if your team is abroad and you have been banned by the courts and not the club .Sometimes you have to check in at the local plod on matchdays !!
It's more a case of getting caught wrongdoing during the ban at that groundIs there even adequate security at West Ham? Or even police? They'll be going if they want to go I suppose. Who will be looking out for them this time next year?
If they get caught, what would happen? A lifetime of watching West Ham - could there be more cruel or unusual a punishment?
Who issued the bans by the way?
Edit - I saw it was West Ham themselves who banned them. Which I think they are right to do. But I can't see it having any repercussions if they do turn up and get in if they behave themselves. Probably turfed out and get a court order to keep them out and then it might get more problematic for the banned fans.
I think the moral of the story is to not be a plank and don't go on the field of play or throw coins at people.
Five lifetime bans issued to the pitch invaders.
I often wonder how such bans are policed.
It's got to be dead easy to still get a ticket to watch a match ? Hasn't it ?
Sometimes you have to check in at the local plod on matchdays !!
Is there any aspect of this story that isn't tinged negatively? They've responded to the disorder by apparently moving disabled ticket holders from their premium seats in front of the directors box, so that extra barriers can be erected.
