Because someone will buy that now derelict jellied eel emporioum and turn it into 50 shoebox sized apartments. Easy money.
A lot more than 50 and already happened. 1 bed first time buyer flat a tad under 335k from memory.

Edit. Cheap ones have gone so just under 342k

The only money that Gold and Sullivan have put into that club is to buy up shares. Meantime they have taken west ham from their east end spiritual home and setup camp in a soulless atheltics stadium. Admittedly as major shareholders they carry a lot of debt however if they do decide to sell then they will make a massive return on their investment.
The loans they made to the club are interest bearing.
They are/were the last PL club to borrow from Rights and Media Funding since ours was paid off.

That along with countless broken promises about squad investment have led to this situation

Wrong again.

Who would be a Hammers fan?

Despite all that is going in at the club right now, half the team, including two of Saturday’s main villains Noble and Hart, are horsing around on ITV Cheltenham coverage, taking lessons on horse racing “commentating”.

You would have though the Hammers PR department (I know lol ) would have had ITV drop that segment after Saturday’s fiasco.

Biggest farce of a football club since Bell End FC went bump !

i thought they were away in Miami on a bonding trip ?

Five lifetime bans issued to the pitch invaders.

I often wonder how such bans are policed.
It's got to be dead easy to still get a ticket to watch a match ? Hasn't it ?

Is there even adequate security at West Ham? Or even police? They'll be going if they want to go I suppose. Who will be looking out for them this time next year?

If they get caught, what would happen? A lifetime of watching West Ham - could there be more cruel or unusual a punishment?

Who issued the bans by the way?

Edit - I saw it was West Ham themselves who banned them. Which I think they are right to do. But I can't see it having any repercussions if they do turn up and get in if they behave themselves. Probably turfed out and get a court order to keep them out and then it might get more problematic for the banned fans.

I think the moral of the story is to not be a plank and don't go on the field of play or throw coins at people.

The dildo brothers and Karen wotshername, I would imagine.

I've worked all over London and had many a pint chatting to fans of all London clubs. Always found most West ham fans decent and loyal down to earth types. Having suffered seeing my club suffer total boardroom incompetence whilst peter Swales was chairman, I feel for them being mugged off by the dildo brothers.

Peter Swales, what a clown he was, had a work mate that was a manager in one of his
Shops, he was called in from his home, one w/e,by Swales, the reason being, he had put on display an electrical item, and one of the castors on the unit was facing a different way than the other three, what a tosser.
