What a great day lads.....I'll never forget that. We sat in the Gwladys Street end and the roar for the goal will stick with me forever. I guess that's what you want isn't it....that end of the pitch and the winning goal scored there. I'll have to bring my kid up soon (7 years old)....he's now wearing his first Everton strip proudly at his after school football club even though it is run by Chelsea FC!!
Thanks for all the pub recommendations though...we actually ended up in a pub in town called The Dispensary.....quite quiet but very nice beer though.....and then got a cab to Goodison.
