No, it is easier to trap most of the foreigners with the help of the beauty of our women. By the way, i never was in England, but i heard, that your women are the most ugly in Europe (after the women of Belgium, of course). Is it true? :) Interested in the opinion of those who traveled to Europe and not the young British patriots who have never been far beyond the Manchester.

You staring at my pint pal? OUTSIDE, NOW!

It the year of last great success of USSR team and... the year of my birth

Do you feel an affinity with the former USSR? Many of your compatriots hate the former Soviet regime even more than the nazis, what with the Ukrainian famine and all that. My Lithuanian friend despises western tossers wearing "trendy" CCCP t-shirts.

But in England CCCP t shirts arn't an issue.

Stalin gets overlooked, he caused the deaths of millions and millions more people than Hitler, he was so so evil.

Yeah true.

But end of the day, rightly or wrongly, CCCP doesn't have the same connotations it does for us as it does for other countries. I don't think someone who wears a CCCP t shirt is going 'YEH MAN STALIN WAS SOUND AS A POOOUND'. I understand why a Lithuanian might not like it, but he's in a different country where maybe we don't have some of the same opinions and boundaries about certain things as in his country. I'm sure in Lithuania there are some things which we might think is a bit woooahhh. LIKE HOSTELING PEOPLE UP FFS.

Like genocide and crimes against one's own and other peoples? Or brutal, unforgiving, vindictive oppression?

Wake up, Nik.

Guys, I mentioned the Soviet Union to see how stereotypically you think... And now you mention the swastika. Hope it is another joke. Modern Ukraine has anything in common with the Soviet Union. No one even remembers those times. If earlier it was totalitarianism, now - the absolute nihilism. And I think it's much worse than that. This country is definitely waiting for the collapse.
Let us return to our sheep. I strongly recommend you not to go to Donetsk as Russian Evertonian suggests (if someone wants your kidneys - it is him). Donetsk is a terrible industrial city absolutely devoid of attractions with highest level of banditry (i say it as fan of Shakhtar Donetsk). Much better for you is to go to L'viv.

People will often bring up extremes on here mate, as a way of justifying their own opposite extremes. Take no notice.

Also, what ever happened to the Dniprovetsk (sp) maniacs?
