I hope so. I booked a weekend trip to Disney Paris with the kids before the fixtures came out and it just happened to be this weekend. A postponment would suit me fine.

They called off our season opener a few years ago away to Spurs due to similar, didn't they? Or am I misremembering?

Edit: my mistake. It was due to riots way back in 2011

Pretty sure they did call a derby off under Moyes when they had injuries and suspensions can't remember if it was wind or rain.

Why do some people think it would be called off for football reasons. Its purely for people travelling to the game! I hope its called off. They are at the top of their game. Dont be fooled by a win against an awful Wolves side. We still gave the ball away all night and our finishing and final 3rd play was hopeless. We scored a couple but missed sitters. I d rather play them later when we are hopefully stronger after the window. Dont want it near the end of course but they would have 5 months to play it.
