Don’t punish the team on the behaviour of mindless morons who can’t handle their ale or can’t help being ungodly racist. The only way to combat it is banning fan attendance at away games and curfews on pubs for night home games. More needs doing with social media as pertained to racially motivated behaviour as well, ID checks or Live Photo recognition on registering for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

I wasn’t disagreeing. Just pointing out that the “working class” have slowly been pushed out / priced out of football for almost the last thirty years. Last nights crowd seemed a mixture of occasional match going happy clappies (EPL target audience) and those feeling excluded enough to beer up, beak up and show up with predictable consequences.
The media and their government masters are rushing about damping it all down.
Modern football stinks. Just saying.

Lots of football clubs up and down the country still have a mainly working class following,it could be that a lot of smaller clubs dickheads all seem to gather under the England flag, as I said earlier football has cleaned it's image up massively over the last few years in regards to racism and homophobia yet the national side still attracts these people

I`ve also seen and been in the middle of worse behaviour by the Old Bill at away matches, especially the Transport Police.

It was an accepted part of going to an away game on the trains in particular, for quite along time, especially night matches.

The mounted police where no angels either.
 
Ban the fans, not the team. Cameras everywhere these days with millions on facebook, instagram etc so find the scumbags who were storming thr ground, attacking people etc and ban them from football grounds for life, including a no fly list - stop the Brexit effers from going on holiday too.

When you see the behavious you understand why people want us to lose. The International version of that lot next door

As for the racism on social media, im all for a degree of anonymity for various reasons but there has to be some sort of action they can take.

I was musing this on the way to the shop earlier, and basically, the English are the worst at being drunk in Europe. A significant minority just cant not start fights and stuff. The Scots, Irish, and Welsh lads all get bladdered, but thats it. They get bladdered and have a good time.

I am sure bar owners the length and breadth of Costa Del Everywhere would agree.
