We are on the road

we just are way of were US fans want to be. we DONT KNOW WHAT TFG expect or “think” etc before people start with it

it’s a huge turnover off and on the field

( one window ONE )

it’s not going to happen overnight

now clearly there is massive issues
squad recruitment, players needed
players who should be playing players
who need throwing to the lions.

all that is moyes/DOF/who ever does all that side of it.

the negativity really has been lunacy in my opinion.

you’d think we have moshri still selling everyone and still at goodison

it’s a long way to go.

ride it out lads it’s not like we haven’t
for 30 odd years

We’re on the march with Matty’s army !

The floor is yours Matty.

We need another "Awe inspiring" pre-match post, before Dyche comes riding horse back into our Town..

Give us the bite, the determination, to send this Ginger fraud back to his bunker empty handed..

💙 👊💙

We didn't need a domestic trophy when he took over. Less than a year ago we were were in the muck.

We needed a Manager with a track record of improving poor teams and poor squads, taking relegation candidates to European places.

We should be mindful of acting too entitled. From where we have been, we are years away from competing for anything other than Europa league places. There's too many more balanced, more settled, and better quality squads in the league for us to consider anything other than that for the moment.

Today's society teaches us that success can and should be instant. In reality we need to have patience.

If (and it is still an if) we finish in the top half of the table, in a season where the league is extremely competitive in the middle (more so than years gone by) then we can consider it a success.

And the football is better as well. That counts for something
I hate this argument (the bit in bold). Ambition and aspiration is not entitlement, nobody thinks we "deserve" to win a cup or even that we expect to do so. All we expect is that we'll give it a real go and not approach games/cups with a small time attitude. I think those of us who don't think Moyes is the right man have two clear examples of why he's not the guy to exemplify that attitude. The first was the shameful, in my opinion, approach to the league cup game against Wolves and the second was the post-match comments that basically said we couldn't possibly hope to compete with Newcastle, a team that we beat at the end of last season at their place, hadn't won away in the league all season, were below us in the league, and are now, once again, below us in the league. Asking for a manager that doesn't play down our chances of doing anything positive is not, as you put it, entitlement, it's self-esteem. Something this club, and a lot of the support, have seemingly lost.

And yes. @chicoazul , I am having a go at the fans!

I am always reminded of this chap at times like these. He was a character in the 1970's TV series "Survivors" , set in a devastated post nuclear world, this guy would appear periodically with his stock pronouncement of "The Yanks'll fix us up, you'll see boy" in his broad welsh accent.
Brilliant series ... one of my favourites and very formative for 10yr old me ... I have them on dvd.

Entitled is admittedly a clumsy word here

Its realism though isnt it

I didn't like his comments after the Newcastle game and equally thought the way we set up and then played against Wolves was diabolical

But we are where we are at the moment and need to support the team and the manager under those circumstances, rather than holding us accountable to an unrealistic yardstick. We simply cannot expect to play super a expansive brand of football and be ready made for European football this year... Next year maybe, pending a good summer transfer window

But I agree with you that we shouldn't simply accept mid table mediocrity either. Unlike Newcastle, we genuinely are a sleeping giant

Disagree. It was a terrible window in hindsight in not getting a striker or a right back and spending c£60m on players deemed nowhere near Premier league ready. Yes Grealish and KDH are great but there was clearly a misalignment between the football side and the owners.
