I posted after Palace...we were rotten that day too Eggs. We stank the place out. Today was unacceptable, disgraceful, absolutely gutless. Next week will be more of the same. We are going backwards at an alarming rate. I’ve never been more disillusioned about Everton in over 40 years.

But he bravely posts after every win, loss or draw. A real example to everyone.

He's been made to look daft by Allardyce and the mask is starting to slip.

No excuses need for Sam. The players on the whole are crap, not fit for purpose. If you make your dinner with shyte in it, it will taste like shyte and generally be shyte. So some of you delusional dildoes should stop whining about Sam when he serves up a 90 minute shyte souffle
Maybe relegation would be the best thing for this club, for them to finally accept that they are a second tier establishment. At least they might win the odd game in the Championship and shut some of the "true supporters" on here up.

Interesting avoiding of the filter by a new poster who thinks relegation would be the best thing for us...

I stopped watching after 70th minute but looks like it was even worse then.

I have no idea what the game plan was. First ten minutes, it was like high pressure on their defensive line, forcing them to play long balls. After that, control switched to Everton a little bit but all that impatience and rush in Watford half led to inaccurate passing and not sustaining any attacks let alone finishing any. Walcott and Siggy did not get the balls they wanted, Davies and Rooney, especially Rooney, struggled huge when delivering the ball forward. Some patience with ball control and accurate passing could easily dissolve Watford defense but there were even no 5 back-to-back passes in the attacking area.

When you lose the ball that much, Rooney alone got the team on the wrong foot for 3 times and made them all sprint 50 meters back, you get tired and it looks like team play collapsed after 70th minute. Watford got the control back and sustained some attacking play which led to a silly goal yet again.

Hoofball tactics will not get us anywhere, some decent build-up play, like Leicester game, is direly needed.

A point at Burnley is unlikely but would be encouraging. But a failure to beat Brighton could cause a panic and a spiral downwards. We get zero of course from City and our dear neighbours.

Surely it is the managers/leaders job to optimize the performance of the team. The players bring individual skills to a role in the team. Yes many of our players are playing below their individual capabilities (long list) atm but its the managers and coaches jobs to find ways to make them operate to their fullest capacity both individually and as a team.
I cant help but wonder what the former captain of last season’s Europa cup finalists was thinking sitting and watching that game.

I wouldn`t go as far as to say the mask is starting to slip, but I deffo think it`s time for him to re evaluate his unwavering support for Allardyce

For anyone who wants, or can bear it again, go to the Everton OS and watch the 5 minutes highlights. There are none, until the last 10 seconds of the game. Their keeper makes his one and only save from Cenk after Pickford nods the corner down. It is a condemnation of how bad e have become when that’s all we can distil from 90 minutes of football as the highlights.
OH and be sure to check out Williams marking Deeney in the box for the goal...
