How do people watch films legally these days? I mean if you want to watch the latest film and pay a rental charge how do you all do it?

Netflix has older films on, Prime doesnt have the latest, Sky store mainly has buy and keep for some reason. I just want to pay like £5 and watch the latest films that have been at the cinema and now available to rent.

I got a Cineworld pass for Christmas last time and that’s been great as I can just nip to the cinema whenever. Good value too. As it’s usually so expensive to go to the cinema these days.

Netflix is so disappointing for movies over here. I logged onto it while I was in Canada on one rainy evening and was shocked at how good they had it for movies. I don’t get why it’s so different over here.

Other than if it’s a movie I really like I’ll buy it on blu ray.

Mostly don't, do it illegally like most people. Occasionally I'll go the pictures if it's something I'm excited about

Used to go to the cinema loads when I lived near an independent cinema. I go now and again now I live near a Showcase but it's not quite the same. Luckily quite a few decent big films this year such as Dunkirk and Blade Runner.

But yeah, just torrent and don't seed.

Just don't have time for cinema really.

Sky store is the same as box office I think- they only do buy and keep and is like £18 or something.

I just literally want to rent a film every now and then from the comfort of my own home.

All the online ones seem to have similar selections but of course they are limited by the various release dates for a particular country. So especially for TV series but also for movies, people (including those using streams) might be talking about something that they have seen which is not legal to have watched in your area?

Just checked the UK sites and they all seem to have, for example, Alien:Covenant; WonderWoman; Guardians of the Galaxy 2; Life; etc. which seems pretty recent for rental/download rights?

You can buy or rent most films on YouTube and stream it via Bluetooth to your telly these days, perfect quality too, it's the way forward.
