I'm a scouse blue going to Australia for a month in Nobember, just wondering if any Aussie fans can let me know what the deal is with trying to watch live premier league games with the time difference

Do bars stay open late to show the football or is there any chance it would be on the TV in my hotel?

Every match is live on foxtel subscription in Australia. Yes, crazy times though. Looking at 2am starts here for 3pm British time games. There are pubs/bars that will show them live as well. Won't be too difficult to find, depending on which city you will be in

Whereabouts in the country you headed mate?

If you're on the east coast (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane) then a 3pm kickoff becomes a midnight kickoff, which is relatively civilized.

The best way to watch is through pay TV, and if you're only here for a short time you can subscribe to an online Fox Sports pass that should give you coverage to all the games. There may be pubs showing the odd game, but if ours was to clash with, say, a RS game then I think you'd be lucky to get them to put ours on. You may get lucky in your hotel, but I reckon the online sub is probably going to be the best way. Shouldn't be too dear.

Just be prepared for lots of silent limbs in the living room and self loathing when you realise you've stayed up to 3am to watch us get done 1-0 to Sunderland FFS.

Don't forget that November is Summer time on the East Coast, so kickoff is 2am. The early game in England will start at just before midnight, but the 3pm there games are 2am here on the East Coast

It'll only be one hour difference from memory. So a 3pm start becomes 1am. But you're right, I had forgotten about daylight savings briefly.

No my man, I am in Melbourne...2am start. Our clocks go forward 1 hour...your clocks in England go back 1 hour...becomes 11 hours ahead of you guys. ;)

Depends where you are mate... I'm up in darwin and the 3.00 KO back home means that over here they kick off at 1120 or 00.20 depending if the clocks in uk have gone forward .... Every game is on live as foxtel (sky) match choice..... Pubs don't stay open late to show football... They close when there liquor licence says they must. So the 17.30 kick off back home means you cannot watch the game in a pub here.

True ;)

If you're in Melbourne you'll catch our late Spring/early Summer. Great time of the year. Also nice in Sydney at this time.

The Casino in Perth is open 24 hours and has a sports bar showing all EPL games on the big screen. I would imagine this would be the same scenario in Sydney and Melbourne. Perth will be 8 hours ahead of UK, Brisbane 10 hours and Sydney/Melbourne 11

Most hotels will have foxtel which shows live games, but you will only see the main game as you won't have access to viewers choice. If we are not the 3:00 Saturday game, then you will probably get to see us live on one of the channels, worst case scenario is a repeat of the game the next day

If you have facebook hop on the Everton Supporters Club Australia page and ask in there. Plenty of Toffees around Australia catch up for a few beers to watch the game at the pub.

The match at Sunderland on November 9th is the early kick and will be televised on Foxtel at 12.30am in Victoria and NSW.

The match at Spurs on November 30th is the late kick off and will be televised at 5.30am.

The other two games in November are home games against Swansea and West Ham at 2.00am and probably won't be televised live.

They might be but with five or six other matches on at the same time it's odds against.

Every match, including games not shown live is shown over the next few days. There's no fixed time but most are usually shown 0n
Sunday and Tuesday. Yesterday, Premier League was replayed one after the other for 24 hours, Next week it will be on for most of
Monday and Tuesday,

Fine if you have 24 hour access to a TV with Foxtel, but if not you'll need to be in a pub which is showing it.

If your in Melbourne check out the Celtic Club, corner of William and Queen St, The Charles Dickens in Collins St - I think they're open
all night - and O'Brien's at Southbank, all in central Melbourne. If you're not, ask around. Good luck.

Edit. I got those times on the Barclays website but I think they're actually 11.30pm and
4.30am. The others are 2.00am - (3.00pm UK).
