Yoinks! That's some serious coin!!!!Rolex is £28k iirc (which for their pricing is suprisingly ‘low’ for platinum model) and the Chopard £29k which seems steep in comparison.
Or £120 for the pair from Bodrum market!

I read those Cartiers are from their ‘Privé lineup’ and in limited numbers too but they are nice.I like the yellow gold, green dial Overseas by VC (not that I could ever afford one). The new Cartier Tortue monopusher in platinum is also quite cool:

Me!Agreed - I love looking at other peoples purchases even if I'm tootightpoor to join them
Not much in the way of finishing on that Chopard open movement. Could have been so much nicer.Couple of personal favs from this year’s Watches and Wonders….

The 1908 with that blue finish is a really good looking dress watch and like the open caseback on it too. I have put my name down for the Tudor purely as an investment watch but there is next to no chance of getting one with the numbers of them being produced. If by some miracle I get it am sure it will be gone very quickly and will fund a couple of nice new purchases to keepCouple of personal favs from this year’s Watches and Wonders….

I’m guessing the visible ‘dial’ might be titanium too which perhaps doesn’t lend itself to guilloche or similar finishingNot much in the way of finishing on that Chopard open movement. Could have been so much nicer.

Looks to be the same movement as used here -I’m guessing the visible ‘dial’ might be titanium too which perhaps doesn’t lend itself to guilloche or similar finishing![]()
I've thought this. I'd buy an Omega or breitling for example but I'd be terrified of damaging it!I always wonder if I could afford one of these 10k plus watches, would I actually buy one?

That's why I'm much happier with a £400 Seiko or £200 Orient watch!!
No problem with that, can’t wear them in the UK for fear of having your hand chopped off for it by moped riding ne’er-do-wells.I've thought this. I'd buy an Omega or breitling for example but I'd be terrified of damaging it!
