Taking it as I see it (and putting all my preconceived prejudice against him to one side and remembering that our job as fans is to get behind the TEAM we love) that was a good presser. Talks sense, grounded, no BS. What’s not to like about him as Everton manager so far (with the things mentioned in brackets above fully implemented)?

I find it completely incredible that we’re here yet here we are so he gets my full backing without question. And you can be sure as Christmas that we’ll finally see some bottle in the Derby.

As others have said, he's Everton manager now. Irrespective of personal views, it's time to put them aside and support him. I think he knows this is his last best chance, if he does well, then we all benefit. If not he goes.

With a strong January transfer window, correcting the catastrophic mistakes of the summer. I don't think a top 7 finish is an unrealistic target or a real go at winning the cup. From the interview, I got the impression that Sam doesn't either.
