Can somebody find the video of our "box-box midfielder" trying to run from 1 box to the other trying to catch Cesc.
Youve changed mate!
He goes more advanced and drops deeper then any of our other midfeilders per game by definition - box - box, i know he has played in different roles given the lack of numbers last year, he wont be a direct replacement for Cahill when he goes though - simples!
Damn right ive changed, I was willing to give him time, I thought he would adapt, but his heart doesnt seem in it for me. Some of the tackles hes done the last few weeks have been so half hearted its untrue.
I respect the abilitys hes got. He can retain a ball superbly, he can pick an easy pass out all day long and hes very good in the air. But hes not a Midfielder. He doesnt have the required skill set to play in our midfield.
Do you think Fellaini is better than Anderson Neiler?

No he doesn't, you never see him taking the ball off the back four. If he does it's very rare. He plays inbetween the lines, as a second striker. A second striker does drop deep and occasionly drops back into midfield.
Centre midfielders play box to box midfield, Rodwell did against Wigan. Fellaini, when he players centre midfield, usually does. Very slowly I might add.
That's the position he's playing now, that's the position Moyes is using him in at the moment and has done for the majority of his time here. He may well be a box to box midfielder in the future but there's no way he's playing there now.
You know, I know it, Moyes knows it, even Marouane admits it in that quote - simples.
