tbh, I don't see a lot wrong with that from a mans point of view.
I might also look in The King James version to check if it's all been accurately translated and Interpreted.

Anyway, what I came here for now.
I woke up about 6.20 and lay there trying to decide
a) was I really awake
Then
b) how long before I have to get up for a piss and/or make coffee.
Then after a bit, this sound filtered through the brain, sounded like somebody next door playing a radio a bit too loud, not blaring or loud enough to keep me awake if I wanted to nod off again.
But none the less there...in the back ground.
In the end I did get up for a piss and then make coffee and toast, I walked out of the bedroom and the sound got louder.
The tv was on low, playing local breakfast tv...which I wouldn't watch if you paid me...not on Netflix where I left it.
The remote was right way up on the chair and not face down were conceivably its own weight might press a button.
Spooky.

Really well done. I've been very interested in the genetic basis of aging as of recent, and this was an excellent way to frame the big picture.

Ah, looks like one of the Theobros, as people like to call them. Had to check first and see if that was a Mark Driscoll site, he loves to write on topics like that. Personally, I am all for orthodox religions and general (and Christianity, even evangelical branches), but some of these need their heads (and maybe hard drives) checked.
