Walcott & DCL....twin strikers away from home....

Switch to build up play with short passes instead of 45 meters hoofball and I believe all 3 strikers could deliver better. CBs need to learn some passing game too, they just hit long when under pressure bypassing whole mid-field. Leicester did not press the CBs and there was some nice build up play and attacks were sustained. Watford game was total chaos, rushing forward with no aim and team got tired with all those come and go play.

I don't think DCL is good enough for us even compared to tosun and niasse, I'd rather play walcott as striker with vlasic and bolasie on the wings if we want to set up counterattack.

I’ve been saying 4-4-2 for years now
Feel like for a 4-4-2 to work we'd need a serious baller in CM. None of ours fit the bill, not even Rooney.

I'm still annoyed that, in the end, it looks like we didn't really even try for N'Zonzi in January. He could've given us so many more options.

DCL has shown significant improvement from last year, probably the most improved player at Everton this year....

He can do a job for Everton & with Walcott in support we would have pace too on the counter attack.....

We would have pace DCL & Walcott are quick & would cause problems without a doubt.....would love to see us have a go....

DCL has been very unlucky not to have played more under Allardyce imo...

In Unsworths final West Ham game Kenny, Holgate, Davies & Calvert Lewin all started, Lookman and Baningime were also involved.
Since then
DCL is now 3rd choice striker, after doing some great work for us before and DURING allardyces spell in charge
Davies is dropped at every opportunity given, and only ever brought back in if we have been battered, i fully expect him to be out for the burnley game
Holgate has been our best centre half, since then Keane has been a mainstay (probably would be my choice) then a roulette choice of Williams, Jagielka, Mangala have all been put ahead him now in the pecking order, im guessing Mori will be too when match fit
Kenny, i gaurentee if Baines was fit, Marrtina would be playing right back
Baningime, has played 20 minutes under Sam
Lookman is playing for Champions League challenger Leipzig

i

The side that played West ham had plenty of energy & intensity that orchestrated a comfortable victory....
Rooney also benefitted as he had young legs around him, no coincidence that he played a blinder & his best game since returning back to Everton....
Play the youngsters let them flourish....but don't sell them....!!!

Same could be said second half v swansea...........Kenny, DCL, Davies, Holgate, Lookman all on the pitch

I'd be happy for us to try it even if we risk getting a good old fashioned hiding.
Indeed, it's not like we haven't already been on the end of a few hidings already. Just give it a go we have everything to gain and not a lot to lose, we are virtually safe now.
We could even play Iceland at No10, Vlasic on the left wing and Walcott on the right but Allerdyce will probably go with the customary 8-1-1 and then wonder why we don't score.

I don't think any of these are first team quality, at best they should be more no more than second choice.
