Waiting List

Almost every seat I've bought through the resale site this season, the people sat near me have asked if I'm the STH. When I say I'm not, they tell me it's been resold every match so far, hence my opinion that people are buying STs with no intention of going to most games.

Even the Saturday 3pm kick offs have loads of tickets on the resale site so it's nothing to do with games being moved for TV.
Shows really the club don't care as long as they have the money in their pockets.
IMO they should have a restriction that you have to attend say at least 50% of the games or the ST cannot be renewed. Of course individuals could ask for dispensation due to certain circumstances on a case by case basis.
Suppose that would anoy some folk, but I can't see why the club would want the administration burden of someone reselling their ST for almost every home game.

They're actively reaching out to members asking if they want a ticket for Saturday, via email!
Putting that restriction in place, rightly or not, peeps will just send their ST on via private channels for use, so it looks like you're going to most games.

Also a little unfair as they're allowing the KO times to change so regularly. Vicious circle. Work, family, commitments

I was 10,000-10,499. Give my season ticket up 2 years ago I won’t be renewing at £100 for me and my daughter to be on a list every year or for the chance to maybe get tickets with the membership. I actually don’t care that much about the football obviously still watch 90% of games but can take it or leave it now. And I don’t even let them ruin my weekends anymore either the games gone 💩

2,001 - 2,500. Waiting list since start of 21/22 season and member each season. I was 2,501 - 3,000 in April so come down a bit! In May 2024 I was 12,001 - 15,000!

Expect it'll be a other 2/3 years for me

The kids have been on the waiting list for a couple of years, not worth getting them a FB membership this year compared to the old kids ones as they are too young still to go...so they don't get a number! Tier 2 and effectively no chance of getting amongst the numbers unless I pay another £120 a year for them when they can't even go the games yet. Madness

12-15000 been on ST list since the day it opened but refused to get a membership until 2 years ago, that’s what’s cost me. The worst part is I had a ST for 10 years gave it up, changed me mind and joined the WL the same season I gave it up.

My Man Utd ST holder mate mentioned something about STH's are only allowed to miss 4 home games or questions are asked about losing their ST.

Seems reasonable to me. But I do get the point about alot of games getting shifted about for TV. I mean weekday KOs are a pain for me and I would likely miss alot of those ones.
But I think that if you get a ST along with the respective discount per match that comes with it, there should be some sort of commitment to going each week.
I guess putting restrictions on it drives a black market so it's a hard one to contend with.
