Exactly, as I've said more than once today the pressure Mcneil took off the defence today can't be overstated. Myko was very comfy just being a good fullback. Played their star man off the park.

Like I've said before he's a defender first and foremost. He's no Baines or Signed but he isn't the big weakness that was made out. Dyche will love him and that's good enough for me.

Give him his due yesterday. Him and McNeil shut down the Gooners right side - Saka and Odegaard 2 of the standout players in the PL.
Let him get the defensive part right and we'll see if he has any attacking threat when we are a more front footed team.

Really good one on one defensively doesn't offer much going forward. But in a Dyche system it's less important.
