Digne is without a doubt a better back going forward, but he's been so good defensively this season, and has some half-assist(hockey people know what i mean), that make him A-OKAY in my book. He seems a good lad as well.

I hope the strike wasn't a one off, each other time iv seen him strike the ball he's rolled an ankle and its gone out for a corner.

I'm not sure he's quite as brilliant defensively as some seem to think. He's a bit of a Hibbert in that sense, he's dogged but there's a bit more to defending than that. He's come on a lot in recent weeks though which is a really good sign and there's no reason to think he can't continue to improve in future.

After witnessing the reserve team getting trashed yesterday.

The first team squad:-

Keep (16): Pickford, Patterson, Allan, Richarlison (new contract), Calvert-Lewin, Gray, Mina (new contract), Townsend, Begović, Doucouré (option to extend another year), Iwobi, Mykolenko, Godfrey, Coleman, Gordon, Dele

Loan out (2): Branthwaite, Simms

In sell category (7): Holgate, Keane, Nkounkou, Gomes, Gbamin, Davies, Rondón

Loan return (2): van der Beek, El Ghazi

Sold, very likely (2): Kean, Virgínia

Release (5): Kenny, Delph, Sigurðsson, Tosun, Lonergan

Need competition for his position, we dont know if he will develop and we need a plan B in case he doesnt work out. From what I have seen he is an old school full back, without the all round play required in the modern game.

Needs to get abit stronger and better going forward, that’s the modern day fullback. Look at Matty Cash.

Hopefully we can see a bit more of him going forwards when Lampard gets us playing how he wants. He can definitely defend though, has a great attitude and time is on his side. Not remotely worried about him at all. Taking everything into account, I'd say he's done really well here so far.
