Thought i should try a curry ish thing after reading this thread. Can't afford a proper takeaway one so went to iceland and bought a chicken tikka, assume it'll be sh1te but gotta start somewhere. If i don't like it at least it only cost me 1.50.

Madras man myself mate, will go for a Vindaloo in the comfort of my own home on occasion though.

Becoming a big fan of a Lamb Pathia lately.

You can't eat vindaloo if you are out or about to go out. It can be a bit tiring. Definitely love an ass-burning vindaloo at home if I'm cooking (that's without losing the flavour, real chillies are the key, not powders)

Just letting you know, supermarket curries taste absolutely nothing like the ones in restaurants. Nothing.

Phall as soon as I opened the container, my eyes watered ! Couldnt eat it in one sitting ! Needless to say I paid the price!

Love fish curries - cod is good as is skate which has a wonderful gelatinous feel to it!

I went to Goa and discovered Fish Curry.... holy ****balls .... soooooooooooo tasty !

For anyone who hasnt had a look, try thespicery.com great little product. They sent ou a curry box on the friday each month with all the spices you need for a cracking curry, side and rice. Really brilliant !
