I've only just noticed this myself. It would be a nightmare to lose both Pienaar and Anichebe for nothing in the summer, especially after what happened with Gosling.

I didn't care about Gosling -- money aside -- because he never impressed me much. Anichebe however is a bulldozer, who's finally managed to add a bit of guile and technique to his game. I'm confident that given a full season or two, without injuries and with week in, week out playing time, he'll become a top striker. And I hope that's for us, because losing him -- for nought especially -- would be awful.

I'm just speaking financially. Say Gosling would be worth £2.5m, Pienaar £8m and Anichebe £3.5m for argument's sake, that's £14m worth of assets down the drain.

Still think he is massively overrated. Besides scoring goals in Europe - where they had no experience in dealing with a player his type - he has never been prolific. Still think that Vaughan is the better player and the one we should keep.

As long as we have Moyes as a manager Yaubu will not be a regular again and we might as well get rid of him. Saha as well as he really can't be bothered it seems. Yes I know that only leaves Vaughan, Cahill and Beckford, but we should get around £5 m. for the three of them, I know that is low but in todays market is what we realistically can hope for.

I'm not arguing about past-Vic. No doubt, he was the very antithesis to prolific. Utter [Poor language removed].

But then early last year, post-Moyes argument, he seemed to just transform. All of a sudden he was looking really good, and for that few game spell was by far our best player. Then he got injured again, but I've faith he can reclaim -- and more importantly -- build on that form.

Coleman will ultimately be a right back and Donovan, if he does come, will only be here temporarily. That leaves an Anichebe-shaped hole waiting to be filled on our right of midfield.
