Victor Anichebe & James Vaughan

I'd love to know why Victor was an ego freak with a huge chip on his shoulder? Sir David Moyes seems to like him, and he actually knows the lad. Because he's not your stereotypical headless chicken?

As for Vaughan, he's not on a huge wage and he clearly has talent. Kenadablue, how old was Leon Osman when he came through? 23 my friend, and he's now a key figure for the side after an injury hit few years. What about Louis Saha? Another player who proven that supposed injury prone players can get over there problems.

It's got to be his last chance but I have no doubts Moyes will give him another chance to prove himself. Simply because of his talent and attitude towards the game. We have very little to lose and we wouldn't get much money for him anyway, if anything at all.

I don't even think you can compare ossie and Saha to Vaughan at all. Ossie has 1 bad knee injury, got over it, went on loan a few times and proved himself, won player of the year at one club he was loaned out to... Did enough to be given a chance.

Saha was one of the best strikers in the world. Proven striker who if was kept fit will still deliver. Wasn't injury prone till he was established.

Vaughan hasn't played 1 full season and I don't think he can. He can't play a full league 90minutes. Keep waiting for that year he'll come good. Ive given up on him after 3 seasons

Vic has given us a lot of reasons why you should never make rash judgements on players certainly not young players - he has been our best player by a long way recently and if this is a snif of his potential we have a great playe ron our hands - ive been surprised albeit pleanetly lately.

The same applies to Vaughan, the boy has always ozzed talent and has proven this season and last that he is capable at this level.

All this cashing in on all our players not getting into the team im against personally lets not have a summer of sell Vic, Vahan, Yobo etc, it will be the same people wanting to sell who will be moaning come Oct and we have a few injuries saying our squad doesnt have strength in depth.

Anyone else remember the sell Baines and Fellaini thread!

*Coming next week Billy out!

You rate the lad, thats fine, I dont, hes always gonna be a Nearly man, Heskey mark II.

Yes the same Heskey that has scored 7 goals in 57 games, the same Heskey that has roughly about 100 goals in a 15 year career.

Another player I dont rate at all.

Who said vic was an out and out goal scorer? He's useful and someone to use in certain tactics.

I don't rate heskey either but when used right he's a key player. The England team didn't end up scoring the highest amount of goals over every other international team in the world cup qualifyer without heskey. Heskey played every game almost... He's key to the current england squad.

Pick another player. Not really too bad to be called the new heskey, so pick another player hehe

He didn't, Osman had quite a few problems with both knee's, there's an interview on Evertontv that covers a bit of his background before he came to Everton. It's quite similar to James' Vaughan's career so far. The fact is, he didn't break through until he was 23 years old, speaks for itself really.

The fact of the matter is players can get over injuries and kick on in there career. It happens all the time, James Vaughan isn't the only player to be in this situation. John Heitinga, another player who did cruciate's in either knee. Go and have a look at his background. Louis Saha has proven that you can have injuries at certain points in your career and recover, it's as simple as that really. How good he is has nothing to do with it, he was seen as ridiculously injury prone yet he's completed the majority of the season for us us.

Fair enough, you don't like him, that's very clear, but players can recover and go onto have decent careers. He may not, but Moyes will give him another chance, of that I have no doubts. He's got a brain, he knows the lad has ability and a top, top attitude.

Fair enough, but your post was a load of rubbish, a ego freak with a huge chip on his shoulder? Get a grip of yourself mate.

It's not his fault he's far more talented than you'll ever be.

But like I say, they've were given a chance and took it. They're also different type of players who don't rely on pace like Vaughan does but more on technique.

As for Saha. Yeah, he over come injuries... But it's not like he was a crock when united signed him and took a gamble.

Never said I didn't like Vaughan but he's done nothing to convince me he'll do anything. He's barely getting into the Leicester squad....if he were all that he'd jump into the team similar to how Coleman has.

And it's not just his knees, shoulder, cut vein, hamstrings....unlucky maybe but I dont feel this "one day he'll be good" mentality. Rather concentrate on players making an impact on the team now. When he plays more than 80mins in a blue shirt and stays majority fit for a whole season... Then we can judge.

He hasn't and I don't think he will

I honestly reckon im better than Him, not even joking, I can run at players then fall over my shoelaces.

But yeah hes shocked me the last few weeks, hopefully he can keep his head down and keep doing it, I have my doubts, I used to have a lot of time for both of these lads, but they just havent done enough for Me.

Dont rate Him myself, hes part of the reason I lost interest in England, if complete yard dogs like him can get picked, well its just not cricket.

But then would you say darren bent should get in the squad? 3rd best striker in the prem and people still think he's not good enough.

Sometimes players get picked to fit a style.
