West Brom have had a £3.5million bid rejected for Everton striker Victor Anichebe.
Manager Steve Clarke is signing Morgan Amalfitano from Marseille and has also enquired about Stephane Sessengon from Sunderland and Jermain Defoe at Tottenham.
Aston Villa are in talks over a deal for Lazio striker Libor Kozak. The 24-year-old Czech international has been a target for Sunderland and Wigan this summer.
Cardiff have made the Rennes defender Kevin Theophile-Catherine, 23, their seventh signing of the summer.

Not much in the way of details, so possibly BS.

Whoever made the decision to reject this, should never step foot in goodison again! They obviously haven't got the best interests of the club at heart!!

Should aim for about 5 million, need someone else lined up as well as it would leave us with no decent strikers. Kone could still come good but Vic is our best option right now.

You want us to start a season with two recognized strikers? One can't hit a cows arse with a banjo either.
