I remember Distin scoring against the Spawn and the ref just randomly decided 'no goal'. Not dissimilarly, Eton Dom's goal against Spurs randomly disallowed.
Colour me cynical, but I fully expect to see a lot more disallowed Everton goals occurring next season.

I'm by and large supportive of VAR however I do have a fear though it will just encourage more simulation at the merest contact.

The most painful memory of my Everton life, but I'd rather risk such bowlers than stand around for an eternity everytime a goal is scored to see if it's valid. The passion is being sucked out of the game, and VAR will speed up the process.
