They wouldnt.

I posed a hypothetical question which was if they wanted lukaku so much then:

Lukaku =Rashford+Fosu-mensah+borthwick jackson+money.

Gets us a forward and 2 full backs who we can have as cover whilst loaning out kids out for 6months then alternate with these guys for loan spells.

But Fosu Mensah and Borthwick Jackson both have a combined 10 games in the Prem. Plus we're well stocked for left-backs.

It will be interesting to see this thread if he gets the job...after a few games the complaints will start.
Looks like only a couple of people on here actually know how his teams play...the rest saw one game against the RS and think hes the messiah.
Boring % based football.

Great achievements in the UEFA and id love a cup but dont think he will do well in the prem at all.
Sid Lowe from the guardian on Emery: "Spend time with Emery and you get a glimpse of that. He is engaging company, the energy and enthusiasm overflowing. An hour flies by the way that his Sevilla team do; fast, intense."

Ok, ok,

But apart from the 3 Europa cups, the negative net spend, the development of players and the pragmatic approach, what has he actually achieved?

Sorry I don't like my Everton managers pragmatic.

We need someone who will keep us down and make out we are punching above our weight. Preferably someone who has relegated a club too.

Pellegrini = Easy option...
Koeman = Dutch Moyes average manager
Emery = Spanish Moyes %boring football
FDM = Ambitious
Cocu = Very innovative
Simeone = Phenomenal

Hopefully if not the 3 i like David Dein recommends someone from left field.

Please never change

Emery is actually a bit like a Spanish Moyes. That is a good thing.

Moyes had us in the top 6 in practically every season with by far the least resources of clubs in that part of the table.

I genuinely don't understand why Moyes is suddenly a byword for terrible management.

Manchester United may not have worked out for him but there was a good reason Alex Ferguson hand picked him as his replacement. He thought he was an excellent manager.

I would like the new manager to be a blend of attacking flair and defensive pragmatism with a good dollop of game management thrown in; a mix made up of 35% Moyes and 65% Martinez if you like.
