The game's 14 years old...chances are unless you're running it on an older system with Win '95 or XP you're going to have a hell of a time getting it to work.

Maybe it'd work in compatibility mode, right click the icon and goto properties / compatibility. Change it to win95 and save. See if that works. If not try ticking some of the other options in compat mode, never know.

I think the "new-age" version of this is trying to be FIFA Manager. It's detailed to no end with absolutely useless stuff, rather than the players and the matches themselves - personal life, buying stuff for your gf (you can choose if you have one and stuff in the beginning), your kids, your house, your boat, yourself, your dog, ye mar and everyone else. Tactically you can set a thousand tweaks to everything and stuff, even corners. You can also expand stadiums and do whatever the [Poor language removed] you want, basically.

The football on it is absolute tripe though.

Have you tried downloading Dosbox and running it through that? Works for loads of old games

Yeah I had that game. Was boss. Still think the best footie game for actual gameplay was Sensible Soccer.

Ar I got this mixed up with FIFA Soccer Manager 98, the one which had Bobby Robson on the front. Vinny Samways was boss on it and I managed to sign Bergkamp for Everton somehow. A 6 year old me was gutted when I got sacked.
