Anyone have an opinion on the handball called against Japan v France?

Knew it would be given, without seeing the replay. Because of the VAR that didn't go France's way previously. Referees are utterly predictable.

I also saw Japan absolutely batter France and miss a hatful of chances only to get done by a literal last minute penalty (awarded after 120 minutes).

It's always been that way to some degree. Physical maturity has an influence here that it doesn't in the men's game...that's my theory anyway.

4 played in the final I think, and Callum Connely on the bench. Not surevif Dowell was the captain.

So disappointing how that turned out. I mean I knew that u20 didn't translate to the full mens team, but to have so thoroughly filled the cup winners team with our youth, and basically nothing to show for it.

Well Morocco just won it by beating Argentina in the final.

Both side have done promising players, as for the game itself the Argies were arrogant before and got beat comfortably.

Morrocco were comfortable throughout the tournament, really.
