I have no regard for him as a manager. He's bog standard masquerading as top standard. I have even less regard for him as a man. He's been deliberately confrontational, ignorant and insulting - not qualities I expect from an Everton manager.

I'm stating that he has a way of playing that is graceful and easy on the eye. I suspect he'll be much more successful with very good PL players around him making decent movement.

I think if you're surrounded by just endeavour and not intelligent movement then a player of Dowell's talents is less noticeable.

Put him in with true quality to play off and with and the outcome will be very different.

Confrontational: I pass an opinion and explain my reason for holding it. I think I'm right in claiming that I'm confronted more times than I confront others.

Ignorant: I try and respond to as many people who take the trouble to pass comment on any point I make.
