I never seen any of that this morning,actually the Times he was on the ball with space and time he didn't deliver at all very disappointing.

I can see him being our David Silva. Picking up on the right and cutting inside, laying balls off and showing for it.

I cant respect anyone who doesn't see this lad as the way forward.

There's a place for blood and sweat and snot. There's also a place for class players....maybe not in that Dutchman's mind's eye like, but I couldn't give a flying one what he thinks.

Dowell has done little to warrant the hype of late. He's scored some worldies at u23 level a year or so ago but on a personal level didn't have his best season this year despite u23's great season.

He's assisted 1 and scored 1 at this World Cup but not seen much to suggest he's even close to being ready to start for Everton.

...or I'm passing opinion on a player some might (mistakenly for my money) be seeing as part of a 'solution' for us when Lukaku goes. He's not.

I offer my genuine assessment of him and it's this: he's nowhere near at the races for a top PL club.
