Transfer Rumour Tyler Dibling

Absolutely no issue with Southampton for putting whatever valuation the want on the kid..

He may turn out to be a Bale in which case the valuation is reasonable. He might turn out to be a Ravel Morrison in which case they will have pulled everyone's pants down.

The problem I have is with Everton.

When we need so many players in different positions with a presumed limited budget ( PSR or actual ) it is madness that we are still apparently trying to do this deal instead of killing it stone dead and getting deals done with other clubs.
I suspect we are trying to get deals done with other clubs for other players.

Was watching us v Leeds thinking that even if we had this lad, he’d be stood on the right touchline not getting a kick.

Not what I would be spending £50 million on.

On the one hand, it would be jeffing hilarious if Palace signed him this week for say £40m + £5m in reasonable bonuses and no sell-on.

500 pages! Pats on back to all concerned....

In that game yes, and while I am not trying to downplay how poor that performance was, that will not be our starting line up and/or formation.

A combination of (or all o) KDH, Garner and Gana in the middle will be a far better than Gana and Iroegbunam, which was a pretty non-existent midfield.

Once we are more assured in the midfield, there'll be better opportunities for the wider players (Grealish hopefully starting) to do their business.

I strongly suspect Dibling has never been in play.

He's served his purpose for a club that doesn't want to spend though.
I do think we still have money to spend but not enough for him. I also think moyes is being bloody minded with targets and needs piping down.

In reality we don't need a world beater on the right wing yet, especially if we don't have the funds ( we possibly need to get into a lower level European qualification cycle for that)

Anyone half decent will make a massive difference as the midfield just has no balance at all. It should not be this difficult to get someone in. Maybe the penny will drop now and we'll be more pragmatic.

It should not be this difficult to upgrade on Jack Harrison without breaking the bank. There's a whole world of players out there. Moyes probably needs to look further than the end of his nose.

A winger with pace is what we need.

Apparently they dont exist...well, not for Everton.

Indeed. I know nothing of the lad but apparently there's a kid called Dju in Denmark that's ripping it up atm, plays on the right and up front. He's just an example. But surely easier and cheaper to prise away than officer dibble and no less guaranteed to be a success 👍
