Just finished the first series, loved it. Seems like there's not much more left to tell from that point onwards though so i asume series 2 will be the last oneNarcos is decent so far.

any decent sci-fi recommendations? There's a lot of faff out there, tried Helix and The Event but got bored. Love BSG, X-Files and the older Star Treks.
I'm looking for a decent sci-if show. Have you seen the fringe?
Fringe was brill, the 100 is ok.
Going to try arrow tonight
Arrow looks awful. Fringe was promising but I cringed a lot too...The 100 sounds a bit teenie. Also started 12 Monkeys but it's main character is a gruff straight out of cheap comics. Also gave Stargate Universe a go but very cliche.
Hoping there's something serious out there, maybe I'm just too choosy.
We're gonna watch the 2nd season of The Returned (the french supernatural drama about returning dead people), 1st season was just about good enough to carry on. Not sci-fi in the slightest, tho'.
Yeah 100 is teenie but watahable, didn't like the 12 monkeys, got bored after the first 3, and yeah the returned was ok. There must be excellent show out there we don't know about.
Watched the first series of the wire over the last few days, enjoyed it, be sticking with it.

Space 1999 and UFO are incredibly kitsch but fun.Don't have any good tips, unless you haven't seen these:
The original Twilight Zone, clever one-off stories in bite-size 25 minute chunks.
Samurai Jack is superb fun, it's cartoon inspired by anime...ostensibly for kids but if it catches you in the right mood you might get hooked. Excellent art style, far-out concepts and proper voice acting.
Prisoner (the McGoohan one) is unbelievably good for the first half of the series, gets a bit OTT silly in the second half.
Doctor Who series 5 & 6 are very good, not too many weak episodes and an interesting arc.
Star Trek DS9: the Dominion arc...bit like the X-Files mythology episodes in that if you skip the filler you get a lot of killer.
