TV Series

I did not like the choice of actor for triss merigold. Didn't look anything like triss from the game. Happy enough with Jennifer, geralt and ciri though. Also I feel the story is a bit rushed. I feel like they are jumping too much forward and I struggle sometimes to understand what has happened. Like jennefer suddenly went from shy and awkward to be the opposite the minute later.
From what I’ve heard, I think the first season consists more of short stories rather than full blown archs. It will probably become more cohesive once the origin stories and all that crap are through.

Mr Robot finale was absolutely fantastic.

Brings a close to a brilliant showcase and an absurdly good final season.

Goodbye friend.

Not gonna lie, it took me a while to understand what was going on in the finale! but it will be interesting to watch the whole lot again when the box set comes out.

Loved the style of the whole thing down to the awkward camera framing, and of course the score

I've watched 5 episodes and I still haven't got a clue what's going on. That Yennefer is hot though.
You could see right from the start that underneath it all she was a stunner.
Duno mate not seen many nudey hunchbacks, except that one time with Peter Beardsley.......
Even as a hunchback she did it for me.
You wouldn’t notice when she was lying down.

A yes from me also.
Be like riding a rocking horse
lol lol lol lol
Im going on the naughty list arent I?

after the transformation of her appearance i thought she had a bit of a masculine face...not quite the bombshell i was expecting.

Also why do the mages need horses/boats to move around when they can effectively teleport?

Really enjoyed The Witcher. Having played all the games, seeing how Geralt met the characters was really neat and how he got the Butcher of Blaviken moniker. I don't think I would have liked it as much if I knew nothing about The Witcher universe.

It was a bit weird having it all over the place chronologically but it did make the story more interesting.

My only problems with the Witcher are the casting, dialogue and writing. The source material is good enough to make up for some of the shortcomings of the writers. And honestly, I think the short story format works for it the way Netflix releases a full season in one go.

I don’t expect it to remain this way forever though because there are some arcs down the road. She wasn’t lying when she said it could run for seven seasons with the amount of stories they have at their disposal.

The casting is weird. Yen looks like Selena Gomez. Triss is just all kinds of what the hell. Some of the characters don’t have any accent at all and it is just jarring. It’s inconsistent. Some of the dialogue makes me vomit. But Henry just makes this show. You can tell he was a huge fanboy as he has captured everything that made Geralt great. I’m a fan, but the show can improve dramatically.

I genuinely can't believe some of the dialogue in the show, it's that bad. Glad to say I ended up enjoying it nevertheless, even if I hated the first two episodes.

It’s the writers of the show. Luckily, they have an abundance of source material to work off of and won’t be hampered by that (unlike the writers of GOT’s). And to be fair to the director, she canned a few of the changes she originally planned and listened to the fans to keep it from becoming an unrecognizable pile of crap.

They really need to hire better writers though. I can live with some of the awful casting decisions (hoping they change some but whatever), but the dialogue can really stand to improve from some of the supporting characters.

I'm really close to not being able to live with this Triss actress to be completely honest with you.
