cant quite take it seriously with bunchy + Terry and bridgets husbands story arcs...they are all extremely boring. I think it woule be much better if we just saw ray getting involved in some nasty work or if he moved away from his family....the whole mickey storyline is just total nonsense as well. Going downhill fast

I really enjoyed it, but others not so much.

Stephen Graham as Marley is a bit of a let down, Guy Pierce as Scrooge is very good.

Watchmen is about Superheroes. It was a book that contemporised, satirised and deconstructed the Superhero comic genre.

I don't doubt the horror of Tulsa, but to lay the foundation of it there is completely misplaced to the actual material. It's not about White Supremacy at all. It takes Rorshach - the most complex and refreshing hero and misconstrues him completely. Its been bastardised by... just looking at this guy Lindelof and what a bunch of duds this guy is responsible for. Cowboys and Aliens? World War z? Tomorrowland!? What were they thinking!

I couldn’t take it seriously. Whenever an ‘artist’ takes an existing work and tries to add their own ‘relatable’ and ‘idealistic’ twist, it almost always falls flat. It reminded me of Netflix’s Death Note which is one of the most horrible abominations I have ever seen. Not quite that poor, but it’s of the same ilk.

I did watch the first episode of the Witcher, and I have to say, I have absolutely no idea how it will pan out. Some of the dialogue and casting choices are terrible, but the swordplay is top tier and the episode itself was brilliant if you can stomach the flaws above.

Could not have casted a better Geralt which is something I would not have expected to say about Henry Buttchin Cavill. He was superb in that episode.

I did not like the choice of actor for triss merigold. Didn't look anything like triss from the game. Happy enough with Jennifer, geralt and ciri though. Also I feel the story is a bit rushed. I feel like they are jumping too much forward and I struggle sometimes to understand what has happened. Like jennefer suddenly went from shy and awkward to be the opposite the minute later.
